What is a Readiness Assessment?

The purpose of a readiness assessment is to help The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga define, organize, staff, budget and plan the implementation of its ERP system in order to reduce risk and to increase the likelihood that the implementation will be successful.

As a result of this service, your project scope will be better defined, the true costs of the project will be identified, and a realistic timeline and high-level plan will be established. Other deliverables include a communication plan, a risk analysis, a training plan, and suggestions about how to staff the project and how to overcome weaknesses in the organization that may prevent successful implementation.

What to Expect
Over the next two months, Collegiate Project Services staff members will be visiting The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  They will be conducting interviews, carrying out focus group sessions, and administering online questionnaires to your technical, functional, academic, and executive personnel. As a result of these activities, you will receive a written report of our findings and recommendations that will help make your implementation successful.

Benefits
As a result of this service...

  • The University will receive an independent assessment of how to organize, structure, plan, staff and budget a large, multi-year, multi-million dollar ERP implementation.
  • There will be an increased likelihood that you will have a smoother, easier, and quicker project implementation.
  • There will be a reduced total implementation cost of the project due to better organization, planning, and management.
  • Your project teams will be in a position to follow the assessment recommendations and begin implementing the project in the best possible way.
