ERP Project Manager Opportunities
We have an immediate need for a project manager for an ERP Vendor Selection project.  We also anticipate hiring one or more ERP project managers in either late fourth quarter 2007 or perhaps early first quarter 2008.

Our Expectations for Project Manager Job Applicants
Our firm only employs experienced, professional project managers.  We expect our job applicants to have the following qualifications. 

1. Experience using modern project management tools and processes on IT projects
2. Credentials as a professional project manager (PMP certification preferred)
3. Experience with an ERP product in higher education (experience in implementing an ERP is preferred)
4. Good group facilitation skills
5. Outstanding people skills
6. A willingness to learn our methods and tools for managing ERP implementations in Higher Education

ERP experience can be with any higher education ERP product, such as those provided by SunGard, Oracle/PeopleSoft, SAP, Datatel, Jenzabar, and Campus Management.  We prefer experience in more than one ERP module, such as Finance, HR, Student and Financial Aid, and Advancement.  Experience with portal products, data warehousing, imaging, and ERP add-on software products (cashiering, reporting, etc.) is a plus.

Higher Education background can be someone who has worked in a Higher Ed institution (in either functional or technical departments on campus) or someone who has served as a consultant to Higher Ed.  Candidates with experience as a technical or functional consultant with one of the ERP providers are welcome; however, only if the candidate desires to enter a career as a project manager or project management consultant.     

Professional credentials can include certification as a project manager through graduate courses, through state agency certification processes, and the like.  We prefer applicants who are PMP-certified, and if you don’t have that certification, we would require you to attain the PMP during your first year with us.
