Meet Your Collegiate Project Services Team

The following Collegiate Project Services staff members have been assigned to help guide the University of Nebraska and the Nebraska State Colleges through the process of preparing for and selecting a new Student Information System.

Jennifer Higgins

Jennifer Higgins offers specialized project management experience in ERP solution selection and implementation projects.  Jennifer has a broad range of skills in leading cross-functional project teams in strategically-significant projects for her clients. 

Jennifer is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with expertise in the use of the DecisionDirector toolset (from Advantiv), which quickly gathers and reaches agreement among stakeholders on functional specifications for a student ERP solutions and identifies critical business processes.  In addition, Jennifer designs and creates executive dashboards for monitoring system implementations.  The dashboards are high-level reports showing executives in graphic format, using dials and gauges, instantly displaying the progress of project teams against schedules and budgets.

 

Ken Quattlebaum

Ken Quattlebaum

Since 1989, Ken Quattlebaum has been an information technology (IT) manager and project manager for higher education institutions.  Positions he has held include Associate Vice President for Technical Services, Consultant Project Manager, Senior System Analyst for Administrative Computing, and Computer Operations Manager.  Ken has 22 years experience with SunGard Higher Education Plus and Banner systems, and under his management and guidance, institutions have successfully installed major administrative systems, including financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, fixed assets, payroll, admissions, student records, financial aid, student accounts, alumni, and development.

Ismail Jama has 10 years of project management and ERP software implementation experience, with a background focused in higher education that also extends to private industry and government.   He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has been a program manager, project manager, technical manager, project lead, and ERP solutions consultant in multiple ERP implementations with different software vendors for more than 75 clients. 

 

Ed Cornelius

Ed Cornelius is a leader in helping higher education institutions manage their critical technology projects.  Through his keen insight into human behavior and his deep understanding of interpersonal skills, Ed helps his clients manage both the technical and people aspects of projects.  Ed particularly enjoys the challenge of engaging university constituents, overcoming resistance to change, developing leaders, and building cooperation across campus stakeholder groups. 

Ed is not only the president and founder of Collegiate Project Services, but is also an experienced industrial psychologist, professor, author, researcher, and seminar leader.  He brings more than 15 years of experience as a university professor and management consultant to his clients.
