Who is involved ?
The NeSIS project impacts all faculty, students, and staff. We want to ensure that everyone has a voice at the table during this planning phase.
Faculty, staff and select students from all campuses will be involved in this project to select a best-fit SIS solution. Stakeholders from all campuses will be asked to participate at one time or another in the requirements identification process (Step 1). Select committees will be involved in preparing for the RFP process (Step 2). Many stakeholders from each campus will be invited to participate in attending and scoring vendor demonstrations (Step 3) Finally, many stakeholders will be asked to contribute to the readiness assessment (Step 4).
To help us lead this effort and communicate to all campuses, we have developed a project organization for the planning effort. It consists of all Nebraska University and Nebraska State College stakeholders, Functional and Technical Decision Teams, a Core Team, and a Steering Committee. All project teams will have representatives from both the Nebraska University system and the Nebraska State college system.
